2008 Events

Annual social events have included a tree lighting attended by Santa, and an Easter Egg Hunt attended by the Easter Bunny, National Night Out BBQ as well as many other events. Contact us if you would like to join the Social Committee and volunteer to handle an event. Neighborhood and some community event dates and times are listed below as well. You can view pictures of past neighborhood events here. We need a few more street reps for our newest streets to deliver newsletters and flyers. Contact us if you would like to join the Social Committee or become a street rep.

March 2006 Newsletter Delivery
Mid-March
This month's quarterly newsletter will be distributed two weeks later than usual. This is due to the late HOA Annual Meeting and subsequent Board meeting the weekafter to be sure the residents get as much information as possible as quick as possible.

Egg Stuffing Party
Friday, March 21st
If you'd be willing to help stuff eggs on Friday, March 21st starting at 10am, please contact our new Social Committee Chair, Sheyenne Alvarez, at 244-6889.

Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 22nd at 10am
Sundrop Park
We'll be having an egg hunt this year on Saturday, March 22nd at 10am for kids ages 0-12. If you'd like to participate please drop off 2 dozen plastic eggs/child or $2/child at 2924 Phoenix Way, along with the ages of your children by March 19th.

Fire Ant & Weed Management Day #1
Saturday, March 29th
On this day, please apply your preferred fire ant and weed control methods in your yard. (Corn Gluten is an organic weed killer.) If you are unavailable on this day, please bait your mounds within a few days for the most effective results. If there is rain, proceed with your application on the next dry day. RRRHOA Board Meeting
Wednesday, April 2nd
Residents are welcome to attend the board meetings if you first request to attend.

Fire Ant Management Day #2
Saturday, April 12th
On this day, RE-APPLY ant bait on any remaining mounds. This will kill any offspring that have emerged since Day #1. If you are unavailable on this day, please bait within a few days for the most effective results. If it rains, proceed on the next dry day. Be sure to physically destroy your mounds to prevent your neighbor's ants from moving in to a pre-built home.

Saturday, April 19th, 8am-12pm

Spring Clean-Up Week in Round Rock
April 19 -25, 2008
A Hazardous Household Waste Collection will be Saturday, April 19. Bulk trash pick-up will occur from Monday, April 21, through Friday, April 25. During bulk trash pick-up, residents may place large bulky items out with normal trash on regularly scheduled pick up days. Bulky items include scrap metal, lumber, furniture, mattresses and appliances that do not contain Freon. Place materials neatly at the curb.

Sundrop & Gattis Pools Open
Thursday May, 1st
Go for a dip in either pool! The new Sundrop pool is geared towards infants, lap swimmers and BBQs, while the Gattis pool is for everyone. However, all residents may attend either pool. Watch the Sundrop Park and Pool Movie.

Movies in the Park
Friday, August 22nd
Sundrop Pool
School's about to start, so let the kiddoes have one last hurrah before they buckle down to study by coming out to Sundrop Park on Aug. 22nd for a movie. It will start at dark, around 9pm.
